Good Hair Regimen
Cleanse

A good hair regimen starts with a good shampoo (HBCO, Rosemary and Peppermint Oil Moisturizing Shampoo). Keeping the hair and scalp clean sets the stage for upcoming products. I recommend not co-washing for long periods of time (especially low porosity hair) because washing with conditioner will create a coating on the strands which will inhibit penetration of products therefore causing dryness. Throughout the week, build up from products need to be cleansed off with surfactants (surface acting agents) - contains a hydrophobic end (water hating) and a hydrophilic end (water loving), that reduces the surface tension of water to improve its ability to spread as well as break down dirt and oil.
Condition

Use a good conditioner (HBCO, Rosemary and Peppermint Oil Deep Conditioner) after shampooing in order to add moisture back to the hair. A good conditioner should also add slip and help with detangling and manageability. Because Rinse Out and Deep conditioners are usually rinsed off, I would advise you to use a leave in conditioner which will coat the hair and add back some of the essential ingredients that were initially rinsed off.
Moisturize and seal

I recommend using the HBCO, Rosemary and Peppermint Oil Deep Conditioner as a moisturizer as well ( a little goes a long way when using it to leave in the hair). To seal in that moisture use (HBCO, Rosemary & Peppermint Scalp Nourishment and Follicle Stimulating Oil Mix) then you may follow up with desired hair style. My hair maintains its moisturization for 5-7 days when using these products with this technique.
